Brand new frame platform using US-supplied KVA MS3 DB welded Stainless Steel. Very similar in strength and properties to Reynolds 931 (1400Mpa vs. 1200-1350Mpa for 931), KVA allows us to us to use a slightly more affordable frame builder and pass on some of these savings to the end consumer.

New Shimano 5800 105 11sp groupset (less 52/36T FSA Gossamer Pro chainset and Tektro R539 long-drop brakes)
BB86 Press-Fit Bottom Bracket for a stiffer, more efficient pedalling platform and wider spaced bearings (= longer lasting)
Sapim double butted spokes help offset the slight weight gain of the wider rims and tyres and matched to the new 5800 105 hubs in 32H/x3 format offer a rugged, adjustable and long-lasting wheelset
Lightweight (450g) and wide (23mm OD/17mm ID) Alex CX26 rims help support the wider 28c tyres and give a much improved profile
Continental Grand Sport Race tyres in new, larger 28c size. Higher volume = lower pressure, increased comfort and faster rolling speeds.
Sealed Cartridge bearing FSA Orbit Equipe headset
Rack mounts added for increased versatility
